Influences are strong sources that can hinder a person from learning. Unfortunately, we have a failure in education, government, law, and so forth that breaks down the minds ability to learn. While millions of children are said to have learning disabilities, the fact is only 1/3 of our children are disabled. We can review the influences in special education to see how it creates learning problems. For example, a young boy attends regular classes and has to fight through the bullying from other children everyday. The school personnel only see the reaction the persecuted child displays and finally gets tired of dealing with the child. The child is referred to special education, where here he is going through the same problem. The child displays symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), so he is labeled mentally ill.

This presents another problem, since no answers are actually available to help these people survive on their level of learning. Attention Deficit Disorder individuals often struggle to understand a single meaning let alone a million meanings. What does it take to survive in a world that is constantly pressuring us to move ahead. No one area of expertise can offer us the money it will take to survive a game of chance; therefore, we must learn that individuality is above money. Persons with Attention Deficit Disorders often lose their individuality along the path of their disease. Why was I born this way. What did my parents do to make me like this. Attention Deficit Disorders are a disease of the mind and no single cause alone has been proven to link anyone thing to ADHD.
